Helpful Hints for Art Areas...

Room Example - Art Area

Art should be a creative experience in which children can explore & imagine.
Our Art Area layout example demonstrates a perfect blend of organization & functionality.

Here are several tips to maximize the functionality of our Art Area layout.

Before using the chalkboard, cover the entire board with white chalk,
then wipe off the chalk. This will prevent permanent chalk marks left on the board.

When using the Mobile 12" Deep Single Storage Unit (WD12400) in the art area,
you create an area that's orderly & inviting, therefore children tend to use & put away the materials they need.

It is important to remember that how you handle children's art when it is finished
says a lot about how much you value their efforts. Hence, use our Paint Drying Rack (WD19800).

For easy storage of large pieces of paper, such as poster board, use our Puzzle, Paper, Games Rack (WD33500).

The Art Center for Two (WD19350) and the Art Center for Four (WD19300) can be used
either by placing the easels on the base cabinet or you can remove the easels and place on table tops.
